A day in the life of partnerships and some vision changing advice from the largest coffee roaster in Florida.

Today was a busy day filled with exciting partnerships! I enjoyed my visit to one of the largest roasters in the southeast, Kahwa Coffee in Florida. Additionally, I had the chance to connect with various local businesses in Saint Petersburg, Florida.

My meeting with Raphael Perrier, the owner of Kahwa Coffee in St. Petersburg, Florida, was truly enlightening. Despite our brief 30-minute conversation, he shared valuable insights on coffee, reselling, and roasting. The most memorable part of our discussion was when he recommended increasing donations to organizations beyond 10%. While he initially proposed 35%, we settled on 30%. His words resonated with me, especially when he said, "Jason, 10% is nothing. Give more and trust me, you will get way more than what you give." This advice led me to revise Topic's entire giving model.
